Kendriya Vidyalaya Santathan (KVS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource & Development is one among the pioneer institutions through which the Central Government ensures implementation of quality education nation-wise. It is governed by a Board of Governors under the Chairmanship of the Cabinet Minister HRD. The executive head is the Commissioner.

Our Regional Office, located in the IIT Campus at Chennai, is controlled by the Assistant Commissioner and he is assisted by three Education Officers, an Administrative Officer, an Accounts Officer and other staff.
