Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Perambalur was incepted in the Year 2010, starting with Classes I to V, with all staff and students working in a temporary building.
Later in the year 2019, the school was shifted to its own newly constructed permanent building, located very near to the collectorate and district stadium.
The new building of the Vidyalaya which is situated on Vilamuthur Road, back to collectorate office, has a serene learning atmosphere, without the city’s noise and air pollution. The Vidyalaya is about 2km away from the new bus stand.
As on date the Vidyalaya runs classes from 1 to 12. Classes 1 to 10 have two sections each. Classes 11 and 12 have one section each, with Science Stream offered to the students.
Teachers from all parts of India with diverse language and culture are posted in the Vidyalaya to nurture the young minds.
Our Regional Office, located in the IIT Campus at Chennai, is headed by the Deputy Commissioner and he is assisted by three Assistant Commissioners, an Administrative Officer, an Accounts Officer and other staff.
