Message's From
Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire teaching community on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2024!
Today, as we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan extends its deepest gratitude and respect to all educators.
Deputy Commisioner's Message
Shri. D. Manivannan
Deputy Commissioner
During the freedom struggle of India, the great poet of the country, Subramanya Bharati, said that three things are necessary to achieve true independence. First is education; second is education; and third is also education. From Nalanda and Takshila to the present educational system, the tradition and culture of thousands of years of India has always accepted education as a tool through which man makes himself social, civilized and humane. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is the torch bearer of this deep tradition of India, which has been successfully carrying out the responsible task of building the new generation of the country with the educational innovations of the modern era while assimilating the traditions of the times in the field of education. The innumerable teachers who give meaning to this penance of making the foundation of the country strong and consistent are the pride and glory of the organization. Whose Guru is also blind, the disciple is completely innocent. The blind man's plate, both are in the well. Come, let us take this saying of Kabir as a warning and move ahead on the path of our duty so that our students can develop in all aspects and the country and society can progress progressively.

Mr. V. Meganathan
Principal
Welcome to the website of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Perambalur. Being the Principal of the school, I am fortunate and honoured to be part of an educational institution where every Student, Teacher and Parent experience the purpose of education, “Come to Learn and Leave to Serve the Country and Countrymen” “शिक्षार्थ प्रवेश और सेवार्थ प्रस्थान”. The deep desire and passion to make a difference in the lives of the children continues. It is our wish to nurture children with Indian values and deep love for our culture. This encourages us to venture further into newer territories ensuring holistic development and academic excellence. In collaboration with CBSE and NCERT, we have pioneered a model, wrapped in social and moral focus around an education curriculum proving that all children can learn and succeed. It is rightly said that “The whole purpose of education is to teach the child to think and not what to think”. Through exploration and experimentation with a plethora of various Co-curricular Activities and different cultural programmes, integrated into the curriculum students have made us to identify the latent talents in them. This we call ‘excellence beyond classrooms’! We emanate and sprinkle an atmosphere where each child receives love, dignity, and acceptance. The trust here is to blend thoroughly the modern and traditional approach which is conducive for learners. We are focused to achieve our aim by providing an exemplary infrastructure to work upon a child’s physical, mental and artistic faculties. "Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are foot prints on the moon” – Paul Brandt. I strongly believe in these words and insist that apart from narrating tales pointing at the moon, We educators must inspire our students to leave footprints on the moon Good things never end - they go on!
